Chara Sands are located in 500 km to the East from lake Baykal. It is a wonderful place: small and cozy, but the real desert with sands and dunes is lost in swampy permafrost forests surrounded by Kodar, Udokan and Kalar mountain ranges. We are going to Chara Sands in May to catch the flowering time of our favorite pasqueflowers and combine macro photography with landscape work.

This tour is unique not only for the remote location, but also for having landscape and macro photography matched together. You will get familiar with phylosophy, approaches and tricks of these both genres that look very different. You will find how to employ the landscape way of thinking in macro photography, and vice versa.
